What a wonderful place! I was only able to stay for 2 nights passing through the area but I know I will be back. The hotel is right on the lake, easy to get in and out, plenty of parking. I had a renovated room (#27) overlooking the lake from a large furnished balcony. Room was spacious and very well designed, bathroom and shower amazing as was the food in the restaurant. All staff extremely helpful and genuinely nice. Couldn't have been more perfect and can't wait to be back.
This was my 2nd stay at the Hotel Forelle and it was just a good as the first one. The Hotel is clean, the location is beautiful and the food delicious. They have their own lake access and a very nice spa facility. You can have breakfast with great lake view and perfect service.

The only "be-moll", as Frenchmen say: couldn't be possible to reserve a special place for smokers - and not heir rooms balconies - to have their night cigarette elsewhere than on their room's balconies in order to preserve the fresh millstatter air for all the others? Moreover since the clean mountain fresh air etc. figures at your advertising as one of your utmost privileges...(as you mention it in your own advertising?)
Nevertheless, if we are alive and OK, we'll definitely come again to the Seegluck!

Prime location, splendid food, friendly staff, small enough to feel cosy, great facilities and recreational activity offering, superb new rooms
Will return next summer for at least two weeks to completely relax and wind down
As if the beautiful lake and mountains were not enough, this family run hotel is reason enough to visit Millstatt. The perfect balance between tradition and modern, the restaurant is amazing, and the staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel forelle is an amazing please directly by the lake in a really romantic setting. we enjoyed the direct access to the lake, great food and excellent service!
